Three of the Coolest Motorcycle Rides in the US
Victory bikes are the perfect way to travel to any destination. There’s nothing better than the feeling of being in control of such raw, mechanical power, the rush of wind whipping past you as your hurtle towards your destination at breakneck speeds, the road opening up in front of you like the pages of a map. If you’re going anywhere, Victory bikes are indeed the way to go.
That being said, there are some journeys that are better than others — some routes are seemingly made to be traveled by motorcycle. Here are just a few of the coolest motorcycle rides you can make in the United States.
The George Washington Highway.
The George Washington Highway in West Virginia comes complete with just about everything a solid motorcycle trip needs. Its got majestic mountains, powerful, coarsing rivers, awe-inspiring scenery… Oh, and it’s got the insane twists and turns Victory bikes were made to handle.
The Tail of the Dragon.
With 318 curves in 11 miles, there’s a reason its called the Tail of the Dragon. This perfect place to ride Victory bikes is in the southeastern part of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina. Just be careful, lest a piece of your bike get added to the “Tree of Shame,” a monument to all the unfortunate bikers who’ve crashed along the Tail of the Dragon. Bike parts are nailed to the tree, and dangle off of its branches.
Beartooth Pass.
Beartooth Pass in Wyoming throws anything and everything it can at Victory bikes. It’s got stark mountains, dense forests, sleek snow, and even some fearsome tundras. Plus, its contrasting elevations will make you feel more like you’re riding a roller coaster than a bike.
