Arizona Politician Makes Embarrassing Mistake On Live Television
An Arizona politician describes the horror in young illegal immigrant children’s eyes: “I was able to actually see some of the children in the buses and the fear on their faces. This is not compassion.” The only problem is that they weren’t immigrant children. What congressional candidate Adam Kwasman mistook for a bus full of children waiting to see an immigrant judge was actually a group of children from the YMCA.
Are Feds Trying To Throw Off People Like Kwasman?
“It appears that many illegal immigrants in California are being transported by federal agents via van caravans instead of large Department of Homeland Security (DHS) buses,” Fox News writes. “Dropping off illegal immigrants from vans, rather than buses, may serve to draw less attention and scrutiny from local residents, many of whom remain resistant to the dumping of foreigners in their communities.” Of course, what Fox — and others — may want to reconsider, whether the U.S. transports the children by vans or by renting a charter bus, they’re still children. Yelling and screaming at children during these political rallies is not likely to accomplish much beyond scaring them.
Why Are People Renting Bus Charter Services?
As Kwasman foolishly learned, you may not want to pick apart every bus you see as a bus possibly transporting children who will face an immigration judge. Instead, realize there are many reasons for renting a charter bus (and most infinitely more likely than transporting migrant children). The buses are a popular option for field trips, corporate events, college events, and — most notably — tourism.
Don’t get caught yelling at a group of American school-age kids from the YMCA — or even yelling at a bus of tourists. Realize the government is moving on and using more subtle ways to transport immigrants out of the public eye.
